This two day short course will explore how public engagement can be strategically embedded in humanities research careers. The course will cover key areas such as working with the media, navigating ‘Impact’ and the REF, and looking at how engagement can be done through research. Participants will attend plenaries and talks by leading scholars as well as workshops led by the SAS Public Engagement team. This course is suitable for all those with a humanities focussed research career, especially ECRS.
