Dear colleagues

With apologies for any cross-posting, the Saw Swee Hock Southeast Asia Centre (SEAC) at the London School of Economics is pleased to announce a new stipendiary Visiting Appointment Scheme for the 2019/20 academic year.

This scheme is intended for social science scholars currently employed by an institution within the Southeast Asia region, with the stipend contributing towards London living expenses. SEAC will also fund return economy airfare to London, in addition to providing up to £500 towards research costs during the visit.

Appointments can be anywhere between 6 weeks to 3 months in duration (excluding the June-August period) and the deadline for applications is 31st May 2019.

Full details are available here: http://www.lse.ac.uk/seac/Visiting-Appointments

I would be very grateful if you could pass on to your colleagues / networks who may be interested in this scheme.

With all best wishes,

Hyun Bang
