Florida Winter Conference: Experiential Design – Rethinking relations between people, objects and environments
CONFERENCE: Experiential Design – Rethinking relations between people, objects and environments
Florida State University | 16-17 January 2020 | ABSTRCTS: 20 June 2019

The AIA and the RIBA list user experience and inclusivity as essential components of architectural design education and thinking. The Urban Design Forum argues that healthy cities are, by definition, based on best design practices. The Industrial Designers Society of America sees product design in the light of inclusivity as essential to basic practice. This conference and its publications are premised on the belief that designers need to understand the insights of health professionals, psychologists, educationalists and diverse commercial and non-commercial user groups to create the buildings and spaces we will all need in the future: cities; landscapes; interiors; furniture.

On that basis it brings together people from this diverse range of fields into open dialogue.
