The New England Historical Association (NEHA), a regional afffiliate of the AHA, invites publishers to nominate one book per year for its annual James P. Hanlan Book Award ($300.00 stipend and certificate). The award is presented at the annual NEHA conference in October 2019. The winning book will be an original monograph on any historical topic, time or place published in 2018 by an author who lives or works in New England. Fiction, collections or edited books are not eligible. Inquiries from publishers are welcome before June 1, 2019..
