Our new open peer review project "Playing the Field: Video Games and American Studies" is online, and we invite you to comment on the uploaded chapters.
In 18 essays that cover a broad range of perspectives and examples, this collection asks what the field of American Studies, with its highly diverse toolbox of theoretical and practical approaches, may bring to the analysis of video games, and how in turn other disciplinary approaches to video games, as well as the games themselves, affect and change these established theories and methods.
Comments will be checked for scientific value, and appropriateness (no abusive language and/or political comments etc.) before uploading. Help us make academic research transparent and open access!
