The Video Game Art Reader (VGAR) is now accepting submissions from practitioners, researchers, and educators for its Third issue. The theme for this issue is "overclocking." VGAR requests submissions that examine the practice of overclocking as a foundational metaphor for how video games are produced and experienced today, the temporal compressions and extensions of the many historical lineages which contribute to our present understanding of gaming, and practices that push people and machines past their limits.

Deadline for submissions is March 29th.

The full CFP with a detailed descirption of the theme and prompts can be found here

Submissions should be sent to Editor-in-Chief, Tiffany Funk at tfunk@vgagallery.org
