The Asian Dynamics Initiative (ADI) at the University of Copenhagen invites panels and abstracts for the 11th annual ADI conference which will take place on 17-19 June 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark .

Deadline for submitting abstracts or full panel proposals is 4 March 2019.

Keynote speakers
The overall conference theme for the plenary sessions is "Asian Mobilities". Keynote addresses on this theme will be given by three distinguished scholars:

Professor Dr. Dagmar Schäfer, Director of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin

Professor Eric Tagliacozzo, Department of History, Cornell University

Dr. Kajri Jain, Department of Visual Studies, University of Toronto

 

Call for abstracts
We invite abstracts for paper presentations addressing the below listed panel themes. Your submission should include:

Name, affiliation, short bio
Abstract including title, argument and methodology (approx 250 words)
Intended panel

We also invite full panel proposals on Asia related themes not covered in the below listed panels. Your submission should include:

Name, affiliation and contact details of convener/contact person
Title and description of panel (up to 250 words)
Name and affiliation of 3-4 presenters in the panel, title of their presentations and abstracts (each approx. 250 words)
