I am looking for scholars to present on a panel that examines infrastructure debates of the 19th and 20th centuries. Broadly, this panel will examine fierce socio-political debates, federal/state/local institutions of power, and cultural forces that have impacted our built environment. The goal of this panel is to deepen our understanding of inequality as represented in our pysical gegraphical landscapes.

If you are interested in serving on this panel (as a presenter, chair, or commentator) please email Amanda Katz at alkatz@andrew.cmu.edu. The proposal deadline is February 1, 2018, so I would ask that interested panelists contact me no later than January 28th, and submit required proposal materials to me no later than January 30th.
