CFP: Seeking a Presenter for a Panel on U.S. Women Who Brought Down Powerful Men (for OAH 2020)

I am looking for a third presenter for a panel on U.S. women who brought down powerful men in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The first paper will address the New York Female Benevolent Society's lawsuit against a fellow moral reformer in the 1830s. The second paper will be on the first all-female city government in Kansas in the early 1900s. If you are working on a project that fits the general theme and would like to join this panel, please send your paper abstract (no more than 250 words) and a short bio (no more than 500 words) to suzanna.krivulskaya@gmail.com by January 21. Please note that your OAH membership must be current at the time of submission.
