We are looking for one more paper to complete a panel on U.S. women’s collective activism for the 2020 Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, Genders, and Sexualities in Baltimore, MD, May 21-23, 2020. We currently have a chair, commentator, and two papers—one on southern antebellum Protestant benevolent societies and another on Catholic women and their late-nineteenth-century orphanage for African American children in Baltimore. Papers on female organizations working for social or moral reform in the nineteenth or early twentieth century would be ideal.

If interested, please contact me directly by February 1st at ewright6@tulane.edu.
