The Texas State University History Department and Phi Alpha Theta Sigma Zeta chapter are pleased to announce their 7th Annual History Conference for graduate students on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

 

This conference will include panel presentations of 15 minutes per presenter and a poster session. Presenters should submit a CV and an abstract of 250-500 words to Cori McDonald at c_m544@txstate.edu no later than January 31, 2019.  All history topics will be considered.

 

Gender and sexuality historian Dr. Pippa Holloway will present the keynote address. Dr. Holloway is a professor of history at Middle Tennessee State University.

 

Accepted presenters will be notified by February 15, 2019. Presenters must submit completed posters or 8-10 page papers by February 28, 2019. A $25 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch.
