Full-Time Lecturer, US History. The Florida State University Department of History seeks applicants for a full time, non-tenure track teaching position in United States History. The position carries a four-four teaching load.  While area of interest and specialization is open, the department is particularly interested in candidates prepared to teach the second half of the US History survey as well as courses that focus on race and/or ethnicity.  The department also seeks candidates with demonstrated success in the classroom.  The appointment requires a Ph.D, in hand by start of appointment in August of 2019.  Review of applicants will begin on March 1. 2019.
