We are looking for book chapters that tackle the questions of identity in Bahrain and Oman. This is to complement the selection of papers that stem from the Gulf Research Meeting Workshop organized in 2018 and titled "Gulf Cooperation Council Culture and Identities in the New Millennium: Resilience, Transformation, (Re)Creation and Diffusion". The scope of the expected research and the approach are wide, please read the description of the workshop to familiarize yourself with the initial proposal: http://grm.grc.net/index.php?pgid=Njk=&wid=MTM0&yr=2018
The chapters will be submitted in form of an edited volume to the Gulf Studies series published by Palgrave. As we have already gathered chapters on UAE, KSA, Kuwait and Qatar, we are only requesting original research on Bahrain and Oman.
