Shenandoah University's McCormick Civil War Institute is seeking submissions for volume 3 of its Journal of the Shenandoah Valley During the Civil War Era. Submissions can focus on any aspect of the Civil War era, broadly defined, in the Shenandoah Valley. Submissions should not exceed 10,000 word in length including footnotes. To be considered for volume 3 submissions must be received no later than June 1, 2019. Volume 3 will be released in early December 2019. The Journal of the Shenandoah Valley During the Civil War Era is governed by a board of thirteen historians.
