The Italian scientific journal, Nazioni e Regioni, calls for contributions that analyze theoretical questions related to nationalism and regionalism, enquiries on the current situation of the study of specific cases, researches on concrete aspects of national construction analyzed from different scientific angles.
The articles can be written in Italian, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Catalan. The editors reserve for themselves the right to translate them into Italian or English, having previously informed the author.
The texts cannot exceed the length of 9,000 words (including notes and bibliography) for the articles submitted for publishing in the Studies section, 4,000 words for the bibliographical surveys and 1,500 words for the reviews.
Texts must not have been published previously.
The authors are kindly requested to follow the editorial guidelines below and not to exceed the accepted length. All texts that not abiding by our editorial guidelines or exceeding the length of 9,000 words will not be taken into consideration for publication.
The texts, in Microsoft Word or Open Office format (doc, rtf o odt), must include on a separate sheet a short biographical sketch of the author and a 100-word abstract; three to five keywords must be indicated. In order to guarantee the scientific character of the journal, all prospective publication will make use of a peer review system.
The journal is published on a six-monthly basis. The submission deadlines for the articles due to be published in the June issue is the end of February, while for those due to be published in the December issue the deadline is the end of August.
