The Call for Papers for the annual conference of the Western Slavic and Eurasian Association (WSEA) has been extended and will now close on 8 December 2018. 

The conference will be held from 24-27 April 2019, in San Diego, California, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt.  

WSEA meets as part of the annual conference of the Western Social Science Association, which has issued the deadline extension.  To submit a proposal for a paper or panel, please register on the Western Social Science Association website: http://wssaweb.com/sections


Follow the instructions for submissions under the “Slavic and Eurasian Studies” section.  

Papers from any academic discipline covering the range of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies will be accepted.   We welcome worldwide participation; presenters do not need to be residents of the western U.S. or employed in institutions there.
