The Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs, Wayne State University seeks applicants for the Albert Shanker Fellowship for Research in Education. This research grant provides assistance for advanced graduate students and junior/senior faculty utilizing the American Federation of Teachers archives as well as collections related to educational history housed at the Reuther Library. Two grants in the amount of $600 each will be awarded in support of research. Applications must be received no later than February 1, 2019. Fellowship awards will be announced no later than February 8, 2019. Award funds must be used between April 2019 and September 2019. Please submitt applications to Dan Golodner.
