Call for Presenters

Now entering its eighth year, the DC Labor History and Working-Class Studies Seminar invites participants to submit paper proposals for one of our sessions this coming academic year.  Papers can be any topic in labor history or working-class studies more broadly.

The seminar is a forum for discussing works of labor and working-class studies in progress.  Before each meeting, the organizers pre-circulate two unpublished papers, 25-30 pages in length.  The attendees - graduate students, faculty, labor activists and organizers - then discuss the papers with their authors.

We will meet Saturdays from 2:00-5:00 pm on the dates below at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Labor History Research Center in George Washington University's Gelman Library.
