Being at Home/Homeless in the World of the Sensible
Conference theme: Being at Home /Homeless in the World of the Sensible
Conference Venue: Towson University, Towson, Maryland, USA
Conference date: March 15-16, 2019
The sensible world constitues the primordial world -a world that is already there before the emergence of the split between the corporeal and the incorporeal. This split is a derivative interpretation of human being. It presupposes a primordial mode of being human that is constituted and expressed in the world of the sensible. Inhabiting such a world constitutes an elemental mode of being human -a mode of being that is shared with other sensorial beings. In it, one undergoes a unique sensorial lived-experience. Abstracts that derive inspiration from this exprience are welcome. Presentations in any form that address being at home or being homeless in the sensible world are welcome. Presenters from any academic discipline and from non-academic world are invited to submit abstracts. Presentations must be true to the theme of the Conference.
Please send abstracts of 200 words to jmurungi@towson.edu
