Call for papers annual issue 9/2019 Anthropological Researches and Studies
The editors of the Anthropological Researches and Studies (ISSN 2360-3445; ISSN-L 2360-3445) (ARS) invite submissions for the 2019 issue. The journal is indexed in Crossref, ICI Journal Master List, CEEOL, ERIHPLUS, Index Copernicus, ROAD, DRJI, OAJI.net, J-Gate, etc.
ARS, an international peer-reviewed journal, publishes original research and reviews covering the following areas:
bio-medical anthropology: behavioral ecology, epidemiology, nutrition, sexual-reproductive health, population biology, psychology, psychiatry, etc.
socio-cultural anthropology: topics based on the behavioral categories (economic, political, linguistic, etc.), on human relations (gender, family, nation, etc.), on values (ethical, aesthetic, philosophical, religious, etc), as well as on methodology”.
paleoanthropology: human osteology, bio-archaeology, forensic anthropology, paleopathology, etc.
Priority will be given to articles that explore medical topics, or highlight aspects related to human physical and mental health. ARS encourages its contributors to emphasize the impact that main topic presented in their papers could have on physical and mental health at individual and/or social scale. As regards the domain of paleoanthropology, the articles focused on paleopathology and the comparative studies on the diseases in ancient times have increased chances to be accepted.
The publishing language is English.
