Weiss/Brown Publication Subvention Award provides up to $8,000 to subsidize the publication of a scholarly book, monograph, or edition on European civilization before 1700 in one of the following fields: music, theater, French or Italian literature, or cultural studies.

Authors must document that their projects have been accepted for publication and must provide detailed information regarding the publication and the subvention request.
