California, Hawaii, and Northwest World History Associations
Berkeley, CA -- Feb. 22-24, 2019
The California, Hawaii, and Northwest affiliates of the World History Association has extended the submission deadline for their annual joint conference to be held in Berkeley, CA, sponsored by the University of California, Berkeley, in conjunction with San Francisco State University.
The Conference will feature a keynote address from Emily Gottreich: “Where are the Jews in World History?”
We invite individual papers (15-20 minute presentations) and panels (90-120 minutes) on any topic addressing new research, concepts, or pedagogy in world history.
Proposals should be submitted by November 15, 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Individuals should submit a 250-word abstract, along with a one-page CV, and contact information. Panel proposals should also include a 100-word abstract for the panel (in addition to the abstract, CV, and contact information for the individual participants), and contact information for the panel organizer/chair.
The program will take place primarily on the UC Berkeley campus.
