The Department of History of North Carolina State University is excited to announce the 2019 the interdisciplinary  "History, Environment and Culture in Havana, Cuba" program, based in Havana with excursions to other regions. The program runs for three weeks, May 18 - June 8, 2019. 

Students may take one or both of the following three credit courses: “Environmental History of Cuba,” (HI 318) and “Cuba Today: Historical and Sociopolitical Perspectives” (HI 317) Both courses are offered in English, and although it is preferred that students have completed two semesters of Spanish, it is not a requirement. Graduate student applications are also welcome, however course requirements are different. 

Please note that the application due date is February 15, 2019, although applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
