Join us on Thursday morning October 10 for a free Teacher Training Workshop about research resources available to teachers and students participating in the 2018 NJ History Day competition.

  • When: October 10th, 2017 from 9:00am-12;30 (with opportunity to explore SC/UA resources afterwards)
  • Where: Alexander Library, Pane Room

  • Credits: 4 professional development credits via William Paterson University.

9:00 am                       Welcome by Dee Magnoni, Assistant Vice President for Information Services, Director, Rutgers New Brunswick Libraries

9:15-10:15                   NJHD overview by Dr. Joan Ruddiman*

10:15-10:30                 Coffee break with Q&A

10:30-11:45                 Overview of resources & procedures and demonstration of the new site for NHD students

11:45-12:30                 Tour of SC/UA reading room

12:30-                          Opportunity to explore SC/UA collections

*Dr. Ruddiman will be available to meet informally after the workshop.
