The book series Practicing Oral History, now under the Routledge imprint, is accepting proposals for new titles. The series addresses applied oral history through three approaches. The first approach addresses a specific stage or skill within the oral history process, such as the 2016 title Curating Oral Histories, directed to librarians, archivists and curators. The second approach addresses the needs of various professional communities who use oral histories, such as the 2015 title Practicing Oral History in Historical Organiations. The third approach addresses the way oral history can be used to achieve specific goals, such as the new title, Practicing Oral HIstory to Improve Public Policies and Programs, 2017.
Contact series editor Nancy MacKay, email@example.com for more information. Inquiries at the idea stage are most welcome so we can discuss how your ideas may fit within the structure of the series. International authors are welcome. Nancy will be at the Oral History Association conference, October 4-8, and happy to meet with you in person.
