My name is Mo Tian, a scholar with a background in social and political history of modern East Asian societies. I would like to put together a panel for the 11th International Convention of Asian Scholars (ICAS) in Leiden, Netherlands, 16-19 July, 2019. The panel papers will examine the practices, processes and problems of transitional justice in the East-Asian region. Ideally the panel will include papers that examine transitional justice in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and China mainland. Topics include but are not limited to post-conflict reconciliation, interstate reconciliation, war crime trials, etc. The panel will consist of a chair, a discussant (optional) and 3-5 presenters. The abstract of papers will be maximum 250 words. If you are interested to join this panel, please send me your abstract by 25 September 2018. The submission of panel and paper abstracts will be made at the very beginning of October 2018.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Mo Tian (Dr.)
