(Published from Canada)

It is our pleasure to invite you to contribute your research papers to the Special Issue of the Journal of Reviews of Global Economies (JRGE) we are going to guest edit.  JRGE is indexed and abstracted in SCOPUSECONLITRePEcCAB AbstractsOCLC (WorldCat)World Health Organization – HINARIPubsHubTmOpen J-GateGoogle ScholarDirectory of Research Journals Indexing.

Aims and Scope

The Special Issue, as outlined in the theme, provides a thematic space to researchers to focus, in their papers, on the possibility of engaging in a collective economic collaboration for creating an economic growth zone in the BOBAS region. Thus, the issue invites papers that explore the economic and geostrategic viability of such a zone by the mentioned countries. Role of the regional entrepreneurs and Multinational Enterprises (MNEs), if any, can be explored. Not to overlook the trade creation and diversification of such an initiative, papers can explore that possibility of the initiative too. How will such an initiative affect the growth potential of individual countries and BoBAS region as a whole? This question could be asked and answered. To that end, authors are encouraged to submit original articles and contributions on, but not limited to, the following themes and sub-topics;

  • Viability and Framework for a growth zone by the BoBAS Rim countries
  • Role of institutions, entrepreneurs, investments and regional MNEs in the initiative
  • The geo-strategic and political economy of the growth zone
  • Trade creation; felicitation and trade diversion
  • Regional financial integration for economic activities
  • Overland and maritime connectivity for the zone
  • Prospect of economic growth of individual countries in such a zone
  • Obstacles and challenges to a growth zone by the BoBAS Rim countries

Authors should prepare their manuscript according to the Guide for Authors available from the online submission page of the journal. All the papers will be peer-reviewed following the reviewing procedures followed by the journal.
