Re-Imaging Iranian African Slavery: Photography as material culture
Organised between May 10th and June 27th 2018 in the University of California, Davis and sponsored by the Mellon Research Initiative “Reimaging Indian Ocean Worlds” (indianoceanworlds.org), Re-Imaging Iranian African Slavery: Photography as material culture should be considered as the first ever photography exhibition regarding African slavery in Iran, curated by Dr. P. Khosronejad, Associate Director for Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies (IPGS) at Oklahoma State University.
