On October 14th, 2017, the Oral History Centre at the University of Winnipeg will host an “Oral History and Business” workshop. This workshop, sponsored by the Canadian Business History Association, will focus on oral histories of business, including their value as a record-keeping practice in corporate archives and their importance as a source in the study of business history. This full-day workshop will include best practices in oral history methods, including interviewing, record-keeping practices for archiving interviews, ethics, legalities, and issues in access and use.
