CfP, "Born free and equal. The Political Philosophy of John Locke", Third Conference on Contractualism of the Societas et Ius Foundation, Poland, 18-19 September 2017
A conference on "Political Philosophy of John Locke" will take place in Bierzglowski Castle, Torun (Poland) from September 18 to September 19, 2017. Due to an approaching date of the event the conference welcomes only Skype presentations.
It is a third conference on contractualism after one on contractualist political philosophy (June 2016) and next one on Hobbes (January 2017). We do not specify expected problems or topics to be discussed, we are open to any new readings or re-readings of Locke, papers on reception of Locke not only in political science but other disciplines as law or economy.
The conference is being organized by Societas et Ius Foundation, Faculty of Political and International Studies of Nicolaus Copernicus University, "Political Dialogues Journal of Political Theory".
Applications with short abstracts should be sent to fundacjasocietasetius@gmail.com by September 10, 2017.
Authors will be notified of proposals acceptance (or not) by September 11, 2017.
