This is an open call to seek papers for an edited volume with a preliminary title A Transnational Account of Turkish Foreign Policy focusing mainly on non-state actors' role in Turkish foreign policy.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following transnational actors' role in Turkish foreign policy:

-Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

-Multi-national corporations (MNCs)

-Diaspora and migrant communities

-Global media

- International financial institutions

- Lobbies & Advocacy networks

- Criminal groups

We are interested in both thematically and historically formulated accounts of Turkish foreign policy based on a transnational framework. (Chapters specifically dealing with energy companies, refugees & migrants, human rights groups, and non-state actors regarding the Cyprus issue [1960-70s and/or 2000s] will be given preference).

Interested authors should send abstract proposals of approximately 300-500 words, along with a CV to Dr. Deniz Kuru and Dr. Hazal Papuççular no later than 30 July 2017.
