The Southeast World History Association is pleased to announce as keynote speaker for its 2017 annual meeting (Oct. 6-7) Dr. Mark Driscoll (North Carolina, Chapel Hill). Dr. Driscoll is the author of Absolute Erotic, Absolute Grotesque: The Living, Dead, and Undead in Japan’s Imperialism, 1895-1945. He will be giving a talk titled: “Speed Race(r) vs. the Stopped or incarce-races.
