The Bentley Historical Library invites faculty, archivists, and students to visit the University of Michigan for a free symposium, with meals provided.

Teaching Undergraduates with Archives is a forum for the intersections of research and practice, experience and experiementation. Organizers encourage submissions for presentations that address: collaboration, design, evaluation and research. The symposium will feature two and a half days of presentations, workshops including incubator sessions for initiatives in a formative stage and discussions. Organizers invite submissions of abstracts (250 words or fewer) for presentations, poster sessions, workshop modules, or panel discussions.

Proposals featuring alternative formats are also welcome.

Deadline for submissions: May 21, 2018.  
Notification of the review committee’s decision: Early June.
