The Solidarity Economy covers a wide range of initiatives and organizations that seek to establish economic and social relations based on shared interests, mutual aid and democratic participation.

As it is emerging throughout the world, it is important to explore in particular the commonalities and differences between the diverse configurations of Solidarity Economy in Europe and on other continents, in order to highlight the multiplicity and diversity of these experiences and, at the same time, to reflect on the possibility of building an agenda of dialogue between researchers and activists from different countries, aiming at a greater visibility of the Solidary Economy.

This Summer School benefits from the support of important national partners (ISCTE-IUL, Portuguese Solidarity Economy Network, Atlantic Center for the Study of the Solidarity Economy) and international (RIPESS - Solidarity Economy Europe, EMES International Research Network and Collège d'Etudes Mondiales de Paris).

We count on your support for the dissemination of this Summer School to researchers, postdoc researchers and doctoral students who, in your institution, may be interested in the subject of the Solidary Economy.
