Keele University's Latin and Palaeography Summer School 2018
Now in its 41st year, the Latin and Palaeography Summer School at Keele University provides expert training, in small groups, for those who need to learn how to read and translate documents in medieval Latin. It is especially suitable for those researching the history of particular places, but also for more general interest in aspects of medieval lives. Courses range from introductions to medieval Latin and palaeography to more advanced ones on specialist topics, which this year include the many and varied deeds of medieval Cheshire and medieval warfare and society. The school is held on Keele University's attractive campus in North Staffordshire; some bursaries are available. For more details please visit the website.
