Hello, I am the series editor of a volume on World History for the Gale Researcher, a new multi-media product for undergraduates being published by Gale, a publisher and division of Cengage Learning. A number of distinguished scholars have already signed on to contribute essays for this project, but we have a small number of essays still to assign and we are seeking seeking qualified graduate students and PhDs to write them. Most of these essays have to do with the history of Asia and of China, in particular.  The timeline for this project is unfortunately very short. We would need to have essays completed by May 22. We can offer an honorarium of $300 for each essay.  Since we are working with such tight deadlines and trying to assign these essays as soon as possible, some of the essays included in this list have been offered simultaneously to other scholars. As a result, there’s chance something might be claimed while you consider this list.  I am working with Thomas Riggs & Company, a book developer and long-time Gale publishing partner, to complete the editorial work on this project.  If you are interested in one or more of the below topics, please send an email to theeodore.mcdermott@thomasriggs.net and include a CV.  I appreciate your time and consideration. Best wishes,Julie C.
