'Britain and France in War and Peace: Lessons and Legacies for Today'

Roundtable speakers: Professor Peter Jackson (Glasgow) and Dr Emile Chabal (Edinburgh)

 

The event is a public roundtable discussion on the lessons and legacies of the Second World War and its aftermath for relations between the UK and France today. We will focus in particular on political, diplomatic, strategic and military relations between the two countries as the UK prepares to leave the EU and as both the UK and France head to the polls in forthcoming elections.
