 The Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation is pleased to announce the organization of the Summer School on “Science and Religion” from  5 to 10 June 2017 in collaboration with the Orthodox Academy of Crete. The one-week intensive Summer School will take place in Crete island in Greece and aims to provide participants with knowledge of the history of the relations between Christianity and Science as well as with an in depth knowledge of the relations between Orthodox Christianity and science. The school is addressed to undergraduate, postgraduate students and PhD candidates as well as researchers in the field of Religion, Science, History, Philosophy, Technology, Didactics, Theology, as well as to those having a scientific interest in the interconnection between religion and science. Deadline for applications: 28 February 2017 Further information on the Summer School can be found on its website  http://www.eie.gr/nhrf/educational_activities/2017_science_religion/NHRF_Schools2017_ScienceReligion.html
