[CFP] Call for posters : Reception of the roman Antiquity in the 18th century

The study day « “Il n’est guère de matière si vaste que celle des monumens de l’Antiquité”. Étude et réception de l’Antiquité romaine au siècle des Lumières : perspectives croisées » aims to explore the reception of Roman Antiquity in the eighteenth century in an interdisciplinary perspective (mainly history, archaeology, arts and literature). Some specialists in this field will present their recent researches in the plenary session, including Chantal Grell (UVSQ, France), Ida Gilda Mastrorosa (Uni. Firenze, Italy), François de Callataÿ (Royal Library of Belgium and ULB, Belgium)and Véronique Krings (Université de Toulouse, France). 

The study day will take place at the University of Louvain (UCL, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) on Friday October 6th 2017. A previous study day on this topic was organized in Florence on May 26th 2016 ("Roma antica nell'età dei Lumi"). The langages used during the conference will be French, English and Italian. 

The organizers are looking for PhD students and young scholars who want to present a poster about their recent researches in this field. Intersted scholars have to provide the title and a summary of their presentation (max. 2.500 digits) in English, French or Italian (olivier.latteur@uclouvain.be and marco.cavalieri@uclouvain.be). Any submitted project could be rewied by the scientific committee. The deadline for submitting propositions is Monday May 15th 2017. The poster's regulations will be provided with the acceptance letter.
