Call for Papers

and Cover Art

The Intermountain West Journal of Religious Studies, affiliated with the Religious Studies program at Utah State University, is seeking article submissions from undergraduate and graduate students. Published annually, each issue features a variety of topics relating to the academic study of religion.

The Journal is also seeking potential book reviewers. Students with experience in religious studies or related fields are encouraged to contact the journal for a current list of books.

For the second year standing, the journal is also seeking cover art submissions. All forms of media (drawing, painting, sculpture, digital, photography and mixed media) will be considered for publication. The subject matter should be related to religion. While the journal cannot offer monetary compensation, we are excited to offer artists exposure. Please send all submissions in a digital, high-resolution format.

The Intermountain West Journal of religious Studies is the only student journal with an academic review board consisting of professionally trained scholars in the fields of American Religious History, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Mormonism; as well as Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, and Philosophy of Religion.

Articles, book reviews and art submissions should be emailed to imwjournal@aggiemail.usu.edu
