* Traditionally, the Galleries provide magnificent opportunities for collections-based study. However, due to the closure and renovation of the Freer Gallery, there will be no access to the Freer and Sackler collections until October 14, 2017. We are welcoming project applications that will benefit from access to our library and archival collections related to Japanese visual arts.
