Relaunched Network: H-ItalianDiaspora
We are happy to announce the relaunching of H-ItAm as H-ItalianDiaspora.
As the new editors we have decided to have a more inclusive network to deal with Italian transnational migration themes. By building on the past work of our colleagues, we hope this network will serve as a communication vehicle to discuss, highlight, and disseminate current research, writing, and pedagogical projects involving the histories and cultures of emigration from and immigration to Italy, as well as its colonial enterprises, and other Italian transnational movements.
We are excited by the network's advisory board whose members bring an interdisciplinary perspective.
We are slowly learning H-Net's technological templates and capabilities -- please be patient as we get up to speed.
We are looking forward to this network becoming an important site for critical discussions, important announcements about new works, Call for Papers, and a general place to exchange resources, ideas, and other scholarly initiatives.
If you were previously subscribed to H-ItAm, you will automatically be subscribed to H-ItalianDiaspora.
To post to H-ItalianDiaspora, go to h-net.org, log-in and/or create a new account--we will then post your announcements to the entire list.
