The Rocky Mountain Military Affairs Society presents a free public lecture…Britain’s Other Southern Strategy:  Royal Governance in Occupied Georgia and South Carolina, 1778-1781 by John Roche.  

Lt Col John Roche is the Chief of the American History Division at the US Air Force Academy’s (USAFA) Department of History. He is a 1997 USAFA graduate with a BS in military history, an MA in colonial American history from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a PhD from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  His dissertation explored British occupation policy during the American Revolution.
