As seen in 1848 and in the recent “Arab Spring, revolution often spreads from country to country and group to group.  In 1968, one could find uprisings and protests in the United States, China, West Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Czechoslovakia, Scandinavia, and Mexico, as well as other regions of the globe.

West Chester University’s Department of History is seeking paper proposals for a 1-day conference.  The conference will explore the issues regarding the revolutions of 1968.  We welcome proposals from established academics, graduate students and independent scholars in the field.

Please send a one-page abstract and a short curriculum vitae to Brenda Gaydosh (bgaydosh@wcupa.edu) no later than September 15, 2018.
