The IC Buddhism & Australia invites abstracts for panel sessions and individual papers for the 6th International Conference Buddhism & Australia that will be held on 2-4 February, 2017 in Perth, Western Australia.

The conference is a platform for scientists and Buddhists to present their researches and to complete each other by revealing different aspects and materials on Buddhism; and to consider future directions of Buddhism so that Buddhist education continues to be responsive to the needs of learners in changing times across diverse contexts.

Main themes in 2017

* Chinese Buddhism in our days
* An online Chinese Buddhist Encyclopedia
* Western Buddhism
* Buddhism in Australia

The conference is open to proposals for contributions on Buddhist history, philosophy, texts as well for proposals on any related theme. All Buddhists, scholars and members of the general public interested in Buddhism are invited to present their papers in this coming conference. Researchers across a broad range of disciplines are welcomed

The conference program includes also a case study "Lets have a look at WA Buddhist life II" which introduces WA Buddhist communities and temples. For more, please see here:
