Since 2009, the Yunus Emre Institute has hosted more than 3,000 people from around the world for a one month stay in Turkey. This year, the Yunus Emre Institute's 2018 Summer School runs from July 16-August 12. Anyone between the ages of 18-35 and who have never been to Turkey is eligible to apply, with the entire application process being done online through the website. The entire cost of the program is covered by the institute, including accomodations, airfare, and meals.

During the program, students will learn Turkish through a combination of classroom lessons and by interacting with the locals during their daily field trips. Students will be fully immersed in Turkish culture, visiting cities across Turkey and partaking in cultural activities.

The Yunus Emre Institute believes that visiting a country is the best way to truly experience its culture and discover all that it has to offer. Travel allows people to not only learn more about the world in which they live in and those they share it with, but it allows for personal growth as well. The Yunus Emre Institute’s Summer School program gives people the opportunity to experience something new, to grow themselves, and to widen their view of the world. At the Summer School’s closing ceremonies, students will have the chance to meet those from over 50 countries from around the world who have also been studying Turkish in difference cities across Turkey. Their shared knowledge of the Turkish language will make it possible for them to interact with one another in a way that would have been challenging to do before.

The applications for the program are now available! To apply, please visit the following website, http://turkceyazokulu.com/en/ The deadline to apply is MARCH 31, 2018.
