Deadline: 30th April, 2018.

Journal of Black Culture and International Understanding (JBCIU) is published by the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, a Category 2 UNESCO centre located in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria.  The journal is published twice a year and wishes to invite essays and reviews for Volumes 3 and 4, 2017 and 2018 respectively. The JBCIU is open to contributions on a wide range of conceptual, theoretical and empirical issues across disciplines. It especially welcomes manuscripts that consider the question of blackness from a broad perspective, bearing in mind the intersection of continental and Diaspora blackness both in historical and contemporary terms.

Essays of not more than 8000 words should be sent to the Guest Editor at samsenayon@gmail.com on or before 30th April, 2018.
