 Call for Applications - IIIT Winter Student Program (Jan. 3-12, 2017)
 
The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and its educational division, the Fairfax Institute, are inviting applications from undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the United States and Canada to apply for the 2017 IIIT Winter Student Program (WSP) in Islamic Studies. WSP is designed for currently enrolled undergraduate students, regardless of their major or program of study. The program provides an intensive study of major topics in Islamic studies.
 
IIIT will provide a hotel accommodation, on a shared basis, and a $250 stipend to every admitted participant. Students are expected to cover their transportation costs and provide evidence of health insurance . The program will be held at IIIT offices in Herndon, VA. Participants are required to attend all sessions.
 
During the program, students will visit “The Art of the Qur’an” exhibit at the Freer/Sackler Galleries, the Smithsonian’s Museums of Asian Art in Washington, D.C.
