Building an Society of Military History panel about global perspectives of the Cold War--I’m looking for two scholars working on leaders’ perspectives on the relative importance and character of the global dynamic. Since I’m considering newly available US documents from the end of Eisenhower’s term, I’m especially looking for someone who can come from a “Third World” vantage point, as well as for someone working with leaders’ perspectives either from a Third World country or part of the Communist bloc or a US partner nation.
