CFP - 2017 AAIS -CSIS conference Columbus, Ohio - April 20-22 

This panel explores core topics and lines of development in contemporary Italian theory focusing on the most abrasive reflections regarding modern reality and its transformations.

The field of Italian critical thought is intended as broadly interdisciplinary. Examples may include but are not limited to: accelerationism, ecocriticism, hermeneutics, Marxism and (post)-operaismo, LGBTQ, negative thought, pensiero meridiano, phenomenology, post-colonial studies, psychoanalysis, new media studies, new realism, as well as other thinkers hardly classifiable under these labels (Agamben, Esposito etc.)
